Tile and hard-surface flooring — LVP, laminate, engineered, and solid hardwood — aren't side services. They're the craft we built the business on. Dead-flat substrates, laser-laid layouts, hand-cut transitions, and grout lines that line up across every threshold.

Every project runs through the same crew, the same standards, the same on-time finish — from a single backsplash to a whole-home renovation.

Cost ranges, timelines, permits, and the difference between LVP, laminate, engineered, and solid hardwood — answered plainly.
Most Boise tile installs run $10–$25 per sq ft installed for standard porcelain and ceramic, $18–$40 per sq ft for natural stone, and $25–$55 per sq ft for shower walls with full waterproofing. Pricing depends on tile size, layout pattern, substrate prep, and waterproofing system. We deliver a fixed-price proposal after the in-home visit so there are no surprises.
Typical installed pricing in the Treasure Valley: LVP $5–$9/sq ft, laminate $5–$8/sq ft, engineered hardwood $9–$16/sq ft, and solid hardwood $11–$18/sq ft (plus $3–$5/sq ft for sand and finish). Subfloor leveling, demo, and stair nosings add to the total. We provide a line-item quote, not a vague allowance.
LVP is 100% waterproof and best for kitchens, baths, and basements. Laminate is wood-fiber based, very durable underfoot, but only water-resistant — not for full wet areas. Engineered hardwood is real wood on a plywood core, refinishable 1–2 times, with excellent dimensional stability for Idaho's dry winters and basements. Solid hardwood is the longest-lived option (refinishable many times) but doesn't belong in basements or wet areas.
A bathroom remodel typically runs 3–6 weeks from demo to final walk-through. Kitchens run 6–10 weeks depending on cabinet lead times. Tile-only projects (a backsplash or shower surround) are usually 5–10 days. Your project manager gives you a phase-by-phase calendar before we break anything.
Flooring and tile replacements within an existing footprint usually don't require a permit. Bathroom remodels involving plumbing relocations, structural changes, or electrical (heated floors) typically do. We handle all permitting and inspections in Boise, Meridian, Eagle, Nampa, and surrounding cities — you never visit a counter.
